House Cachucho - Last week

This coming week is the last week of construction on House Cachucho, my parents should be moving in on Wednesday, it has been a crazy last few weeks.

Nokia Mobile Film Awards Winner!: The Game - KwaThema

"The Game - KwaThema" was selected as the overall winner of the Nokia Mobile Film Awards.

It was broadcast live across the world during the Pangea Day celebrations.

Award was judged by: Jehane Noujaim (The creator of Pangea Day) and Dave Stewart (Of Eurythmics fame)

The completion date for the house looms, and as that happens, the stress starts piling up, as the details begin falling into place.

There have been a few thriller moments in the build and I'm sure there will be a few more in the next two months to come.

House Cachucho

House Cachucho is well on its way. The ground floor is almost done.
UPDATE: The first floor slab has now been cast (11 Dec 2007)

It is 2100, Apocolis is the new form of urbanism. You arrive at the city and buy your 'home in a box' It is you room, computer, shelter; all in one box. Within its service wall you will get all the services you require from Apocolis: water, refuse and sewerage removal, fresh air and power. The walls of the home are completely interactive. Every part of the wall is capable of displaying video. It is touch and light sensitive and can be customized further than any computer that currently exists. These walls can become your television, window, light source, mirror, internet terminal and advertising platform.
